Recife, the capital of Pernambuco, is a river-and-bridge port city paired with the UNESCO-listed colonial town of Olinda on the hill above it. Together they offer strong cultural touring — baroque churches, the restored Recife Antigo district and a lively frevo and maracatu tradition — alongside the urban beaches of Boa Viagem. The city is also the gateway to Porto de Galinhas, one of the Northeast's most popular reef-and-beach resorts to the south.
Warm and tropical year-round. The wetter season runs roughly March to July, while spring and early summer (September–February) are drier and sunnier. Carnival in Olinda and Recife, built on frevo and maracatu, is among Brazil's most distinctive and falls in February or March.
Recife handles congresses and incentives, with a convention centre in the Olinda–Recife area and a solid base of business and beach hotels along Boa Viagem. As one of the Northeast's main hubs, it is well suited to mid-to-large conventions as well as incentive groups.
Signature rewards include natural-pool boat trips at Porto de Galinhas, frevo and maracatu performances, gala evenings in historic Olinda and beach-club events on Boa Viagem. Cultural depth gives incentive programmes a distinctive local flavour.
Guararapes–Gilberto Freyre International (REC) is one of the Northeast's best-connected gateways, with domestic links and seasonal international and European flights. It sits close to Boa Viagem, around 10–12 km, with Olinda and Porto de Galinhas within easy road transfers.
Two to three nights suit a city-and-culture stay, longer with a beach extension. Recife combines with Natal, Fortaleza and Salvador on a Northeast circuit and with Porto de Galinhas for beach add-ons. Strong fit for European and regional markets.

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
