Puerto Iguazú is the Argentine base for the Iguazú Falls, one of the world's most extensive waterfall systems, on the border with Brazil and Paraguay. The Argentine side offers the most developed walkway network and the approach to the Devil's Throat, with upper and lower circuits. It is typically combined with the Brazilian side for a panoramic reading of the whole.
The falls operate year-round. Autumn and spring offer more manageable temperatures; summer (December–February) is hot, humid and higher in water volume. Winter is milder and more comfortable for walking. Flow varies with rainfall, with high water reinforcing the spectacle.
Puerto Iguazú suits small and mid-sized incentive groups rather than large congresses, supported by resorts and hotels equipped for contained events. The natural setting provides a distinctive frame for meetings and group dinners.
Signature experiences include boat runs to the base of the falls, guided rainforest walks, themed dinners facing the forest and visits to Guaraní communities. The tri-border location allows adding the Brazilian side and the Three Borders landmark.
Served by Cataratas del Iguazú airport (IGR), with regular connections from Buenos Aires-Aeroparque. Transfers between airport, town and national park are short. The crossing to the Brazilian side is by road in roughly half an hour, subject to border formalities.
One or two nights usually suffice, ideally covering both sides of the falls. It combines naturally with Buenos Aires and cross-border with Brazil (Foz do Iguaçu and Rio). It fits well in nature circuits and combined Argentina–Brazil programmes.

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
