Natal is the capital of Rio Grande do Norte, set at Brazil's northeastern tip where broad urban beaches meet the vast dunes of Genipabu. Known for consistent sunshine and warm, calm seas, it is a straightforward beach base with a compact hotel strip along Ponta Negra and its landmark Morro do Careca dune. Its programme appeal rests on buggy rides over the dunes, nearby beach villages such as Pipa, and easy sun-and-sea logistics.
Warm and sunny year-round with reliably warm seas. The drier season runs roughly August to January, while the wetter months fall around March to July. Even in the rainy period, showers tend to be short, so the destination works across the calendar.
Natal suits incentives and small-to-mid congresses, with a convention centre and beachfront hotels along Ponta Negra. It is better positioned for beach-oriented incentive groups than for very large conventions, which are better served by Fortaleza or Recife.
Signature rewards include dune-buggy days at Genipabu with dromedary rides and sandboarding, catamaran trips along the coast and beach excursions to Pipa. Sunset gatherings on the dunes give groups a memorable, low-cost highlight.
Natal's Aluízio Alves International (NAT), at São Gonçalo do Amarante, connects mainly through São Paulo, Brasília and Northeastern hubs, with some seasonal European charters. The airport lies around 30–40 km from the Ponta Negra hotel zone, roughly 40–50 minutes by road.
Two to three nights fit most itineraries. Natal combines naturally with Fortaleza and Recife on a Northeast beach circuit and appeals mainly to European sun markets and regional leisure. Often used as one leg of a multi-city beach programme rather than a standalone destination.

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
