Lima, Peru's capital and the country's principal air gateway, is the starting point for almost every program heading into the southern Andes. It concentrates international connectivity, a broad hotel base and a globally recognised dining scene, with landmark restaurants across Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro.
Its colonial historic centre, museums with pre-Columbian collections and the clifftop seafront give half a day to a full day of touring before onward connection to Cusco. It functions as an arrival and departure hub more than a final destination.
Lima's coast is mild year-round, without extremes. From May to October the garúa, a damp coastal fog with grey skies, prevails, while December to March brings a sunnier, warmer summer. For gastronomy and city touring, any time of year works well.
Lima has genuine congress infrastructure and hotels with real group capacity, making it Peru's strongest MICE base. The city supports larger meetings and conventions before incentive groups continue south.
Gastronomy anchors the incentive offer: signature tasting dinners, market tours and cooking and pisco workshops with local chefs. Walking programs through Barranco and along the cliffs add a strong urban and cultural component.
Reached by air via Jorge Chávez airport (LIM), Peru's main international hub, with direct connections to Europe and the Americas. Domestic flights to Cusco (CUZ) and Puerto Maldonado (PEM) depart from Lima, along with the overland route to Paracas on the Pan-American Highway.

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
